The rural community of Naantali ( finn. Naantalin Maalaiskunta , Swed. Landskommun Nådendals ) is a former municipality in the southwest Finland landscape Finland Proper .

The rural community Naantali comprised the area around the city of Naantali , namely the areas north of the city center and the offshore island of Luonnonmaa . Most recently it had an area of ​​45.8 km² and around 3,100 inhabitants (1963). In the 1960s, the settlement of Naantalis had already grown beyond the city limits, so that the population of the rural community exceeded that of the city. Therefore, the rural community of Naantali was incorporated into the city of Naantali in 1964.
