from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A name capsule (sometimes also an address capsule ) is a special form of animal identification .

nature

It is a metal tube about an inch long that is attached to the collar of pets so that they can be identified. The capsule consists of two cup-like pieces of metal that can be screwed together so that they form an elongated closed cavity into which a small piece of paper can be placed. On this paper you will find the address and telephone number of the owner. One end of the capsule has an eyelet with which it can be attached to the animal's collar.
