The National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) of the United States of America , located in Asheville ( North Carolina ), the largest archive of weather data. It was founded in 1951 with a substantial contribution from Helmut Landsberg .

On 21 January 2010, confirmed by the NASA and the World Meteorological Organization , the global warming of the earth.

Data

Weather data for the past 150 years is stored in the center. Every day, 224 gigabytes of data are added.
