Motorway and agglomeration traffic fund

The National Road and Agglomeration Transport Fund (NAF) is a financing instrument of the Swiss Confederation that aims to ensure that growing mobility on motorways and in cities can be managed and financed in the long term. On February 12, 2017, the people and the cantons of Switzerland voted on the “ Federal Decree on the Creation of a National Roads and Agglomeration Transport Fund” and accepted it with 61.9 percent votes in favor and all cantons.
