The series follows Fred, a domestic cat who dreams of discovering something outside. As soon as his family leaves for the day, he takes on the role of his alter ego Nature Cat , who can hardly wait to go on excursions into the nature behind the house. However, Fred has a problem: he has no sense of nature. Through the learning experiences of the characters, this series aims to encourage children to engage in and develop their understanding of nature in a similar way.
