Neozoon (artist group)

Neozoon is an anonymous artist collective founded in 2009 that deals with the human-animal relationship . The group became known through street art campaigns in public spaces, in which u. a. worn fur coats emerged as the original silhouettes of animals on house walls. In the filmic works, contradictions in the everyday handling of animals in language and action as well as the medialization of these practices are discussed.

Neozoon's work was shown at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen , the International Film Festival Rotterdam , the ZKM in Karlsruhe, the Center Pompidou and the Videonale in the Kunstmuseum Bonn. The members live and work in Berlin and Paris.
