New flower book

The new book of flowers , consisting of three parts, was the first of the natural scientist Maria Sibylla Merian (1647–1717). In the three books she depicted a number of well-known and less well-known flowers. Your second work is entitled The caterpillars wonderful transformation and strange flower food .

The first volume of the New Flower Book appeared in 1675, the two following in 1677.
