As Neurofibromatoses a group of is inherited diseases referred to, inter alia, neurofibromas (nerve tumors) cause and usually autosomal - dominant (the corresponding gene is not located on a sex chromosome and the disease occurs even in the mutation of one of the two alleles on) are inherited. Even if up to eight different types of neurofibromatosis can be distinguished, two main clinical pictures are of clinical importance:
