Nhecolândia is one of the sub-regions of the Pantanal of Brazil . In the south it is bounded by the Rio Negro , in the north by the Rio Taquari . The region is considered to be the best preserved area of the Pantanal, especially on the banks of the Rio Negros, where you can also find countless lakes with fresh and salt water ( Salinas ).
