Nichole M. Danzl is an American amateur astronomer .

As part of her work on the Spacewatch program, the biology student at the University of Arizona discovered a total of six asteroids between 1995 and 1998 , five of which were trans-Neptunian objects and one from the group of centaurs .

The asteroid (10720) Danzl was named after her.
