Technical specifications

The camera has a dial control and an F bayonet . However, functions of the manufacturer's own lens series AF-I , AF-S and VR cannot be used.

The camera's autofocus works with TTL phase detection and can be switched off. In poor light situations, it is supported by an autofocus auxiliary light. The focus setting can be saved by tapping the shutter release button.

The exposure measurement can be carried out with 3D matrix measurement and center-weighted measurement, the latter only being available in manual measurement mode and when storing the exposure data. The camera offers the scene modes portrait , landscape , close-up , action , night scene and fully automatic .

These are supplemented by an automatic aperture and timer, as well as manual adjustment and an automatic with program shift. In this mode, the camera measures the exposure and suggests a time / aperture combination that can be changed using the control dial. The exposure correction takes place in half f-stop steps up to three f-stops. The camera masters exposure times from 1/2000 second up to 30 seconds. The setting of the film speed works exclusively automatically via DX coding .

The integrated flash has the guide number 15. The shortest sync time is 1/125 second.

The camera also has a self-timer.
