Nitrous Oxide Systems
Nitrous Oxide Systems ( NOS ) is a brand of nitrous oxide injection systems from Holley Performance Products . Due to the high level of awareness of the brand within the tuning scene , the term Nitrous Oxide Systems (or NOS) has developed into a generic name for nitrous oxide injection systems. The systems differ in terms of dry injection, wet injection and direct injection.
NOS systems, while sounding almost like that, shouldn't be confused with nitro injection. These systems, which are still in use, also inject N 2 O, but nitromethane or alcohols are also injected as additives .
