Knobs

The burl iron is a tool used in textile production.

It is used for the final inspection of the fabric, during which all foreign bodies and impurities are removed, such as foreign fibers and nodules. The length of material runs through a very well-lit test table, which enables visual control. The defects are then removed by hand with the nub iron while the material flow is stopped.

The nub iron are precision tweezers that are sharpened regularly to get a very good tip.
