The Norli Gruppen AS is the largest book retailers in Norway . The company, known in Norway as Norli , has 65 branches throughout Norway. The company's headquarters are in Drammen . In 2008 the company achieved an annual turnover of 900 million crowns with approx. 850 employees .

The Norli Group came into being at the turn of the year 1999/2000, when the previously independent companies Lauritzen Bokhandel AS and Aschehoug Forlag AS merged. The name "Norli" comes from the bookstore founded in Oslo in 1890 by the bookseller Olav Norli, which was taken over in 1985 by Aschehoug Forlag AS .

Today the company has branches in almost all major Norwegian cities, especially in the university towns .

The Norli Group is also the largest supplier of textbooks for primary and secondary schools in Norway.
