OP driver's license

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The operating theater driver's license is a certificate of competence recommended by the German Society for Surgery regarding behavior in the operating theater for people who are non-medical specialists in the operating theater for professional reasons. Above all, this includes students and employees of companies, especially in the areas of sales, service, research and development.

The operating theater driver's license certifies basic knowledge and practical skills for a safe and hygienic appearance in the complex operating environment. It is a building block for improving patient safety and process optimization in hospitals. For some medical device manufacturers, the operating theater driver's license has become an elementary component in their employee qualification.
