Obama Presidential Center

The Obama Presidential Center contains the planned presidential library of Barack Obama , the 44th President of the United States of America .

The center is near the Museum of Science and Industry in Jackson Park of Chicago built and from the University of Chicago and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) are cared for. Construction costs are estimated at at least $ 500 million. The center should be inaugurated in 2021. Pending legal proceedings are delaying construction indefinitely and calling it into question.
