Oddaverjar

The Oddaverjar were a chief family in Iceland in the 12th and 13th centuries.

Its name comes from the Oddi farm in the Rangárvellir district . Sæmundur fróði , who worked from Oddi farm, is considered to be the progenitor of the family .
