Oldcastle
Oldcastle ( Irish : An Seanchaisleán ) is a town in County Meath in the east of the Republic of Ireland .
Oldcastle is in the far northwest of County Meath, near the border with County Cavan , 22 km from Kells .
The number of residents of Oldcastle was determined in the 2016 Census to be 1383.
The sirally decorated column of Kingsmountain (also King's Mountain - Sliabh an Rí) stands in a field of the Cairns of Loughcrew near Oldcastle.
