Coin of Orodes I.

Orodes I was a king of the Elymais who probably ruled in the second half of the first century AD. He is only known from his coins. They carry an Aramaic legend (URUD MaLKA - King Orodes) and are kept in a Parthian style. An anchor and a crescent moon with a star are depicted behind each portrait, and there is also an anchor on the back.
