The PSV Land Cruiser 200 Shield is a special protection vehicle manufactured by Project Support Vehicles ( PSV for short ) with resistance class VR7. The SUV was certified on January 26, 2009 after extensive fire tests by the Ulm fire protection office (accredited testing and certification body).

The Toyota Land Cruiser LC 200 special protection vehicle thus meets the demanding requirements of the guideline for testing and certification “bullet-resistant vehicles”, BRV 1999, in resistance class VR7. Corresponding details of the certification (test procedure, test requirements, information on the test sequence) are contained in test report S 08 0145 01 / B.

The PSV Land Cruiser 200 Shield is a civilian and unarmed armored off-road vehicle. According to the manufacturer, the Land Cruiser is suitable as an escort vehicle for all groups of people interested in maximum safety. Due to its high weight, the PSV Land Cruiser 200 Shield has a special landing gear system. The brakes (AP Racing brake system) are also designed for the weight of the vehicle. In this way, brake fading is virtually eliminated.

All external vehicle parts are solidly manufactured. The vehicle's battery and tank are armored and explosion-proof. The rims, each with a load capacity of 1.6 tons, are specially made for the vehicle.

The PSV Land Cruiser 200 Shield is equipped with an emergency running system from Runflat International. In an emergency, the journey can be continued for 50 kilometers at a speed of 50 km / h.
