The Palacete Lambertini is a former city villa in the center of the Portuguese capital Lisbon .

history

It was built from 1901 on the north-eastern side of the avenue Avenida da Liberdade , commissioned by the composer Michel'angelo Lambertini and based on plans by the Italian architect Nicola Bigaglia . Bigaglia received - against the protests of the client - an honorable mention in the competition for the Prémio Valmor in 1904 .

In 1927 the building was expanded by the architect Carlos JC Ramos. Further renovations were carried out when the Grémio dos Importadores de Bacalhau e Arroz moved in by Raul Tojal. In 1989 an application was made for the building to be protected.
