Parallel entrepreneur

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A parallel entrepreneur ( parallel entrepreneur , also parallel founder) belongs to the group of habitual entrepreneurs (multiple founders). In contrast to the second subgroup of habitual entrepreneurs, the serial entrepreneur , the parallel entrepreneur is involved in several start-up projects at the same time. The demarcation is not always easy, however, as there is a smooth transition.

This type of entrepreneur can mainly be found in technology-oriented start-ups. The transition from the role of entrepreneur to the roles of business angel or founding angel is often not clearly defined. This not only applies to parallel entrepreneurs, but also to serial entrepreneurs . This can be explained by the fact that experienced multiple founders often have successfully sold a company and invest part of the proceeds in new startup projects. A challenge here is a good balance in the distribution of shares with co-founders who can raise significantly less financial resources.
