The parma pharm market promotion GmbH & Co. KG is a German pharmacy network . It was founded in 1994 by 19 pharmacists. Today it has around 500 independent pharmacies as shareholders , which in 2006 achieved a total turnover of around 1.6 billion euros with around 6,500 employees. The cooperation extends to the areas of purchasing, sales, marketing, IT and training. Since 2003 the pharmacies have been operating under the umbrella brand "Healthy is colorful". Parmapharm is based in Bielefeld . The managing directors of parmapharm are Thomas Worch and Frank Stuhldreier.
