Party hearing

In Austria, party hearing is the name given to the right of a party to the proceedings in the context of participation in the proceedings

  • to be informed of the previous result of the proceedings (e.g. the taking of evidence), if this has not yet been done (e.g. through personal presence),
  • to comment on
  • to find the opinion taken into account in the further procedure, in which the respective body (court, administrative authority) has to deal with the opinion.
