Partido Comunista Marxista Leninista del Ecuador
The Partido Comunista Marxista Leninista del Ecuador ( PCMLE ) is a communist party in Ecuador . In 1964 it split from the Partido Comunista del Ecuador as a Maoist group and later leaned on the model of Albania and Enver Hoxhas . In 1978 the Movimiento Popular Democrático split off, which has certain successes in elections. The PCMLE has some influence in trade unions and social movements like the Juventud Revolucionaria del Ecuador .
The PCMLE is an active member of the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (Unity and Struggle) .
