The Partido del Trabajo ( Labor Party , PT ) is a Mexican party that has Maoist roots and advocates democratic socialism. Since it was founded on December 8, 1990 , Alberto Anaya was the only party executive.

In the 2006 presidential election , the party joined the PRD and the Convergencia as Coalición Por el Bien de Todos and narrowly missed the election victory.
