Passive paraphrase

Passive description is a collective term for action directions that the actors , but also not not call in passive stand. So these are impersonal expressions . A typical example of this is the man form (e.g. you are not allowed to smoke here).

Passive paraphrases are also used to avoid naming the actor (out of ignorance or consciously).

Examples

The following are typical paraphrases using the example of the sentence: "The flour is sieved" (passive present tense).

Verb + oneself (reflexive form) The flour sifts.
Form of let + be + infinitive The flour can be sieved.
