Peer (cell line)

The Peer cell line was taken in 1977 from a four-year-old girl suffering from T-cell-type acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Since then, the cell line has been used in experimental research.

Morphologically, these are small, round cells with the following surface markers: CD2 -, CD3 +, CD4 +, CD5 +, CD6 +, CD7 +, CD8 +, CD13 -, CD19 -, CD34 -, TCRalpha / beta -, TCRgamma / delta +. Peer cells are virus negative.
