People's National Congress

People's National Congress is a leftist party in Guyana that was founded in 1957. It is largely supported by Afro-Guyanese voters. The current chairman is Robert Corbin . From 1964 to 1992 the party was involved in the government of Guyana.

In the election to the National Assembly on November 28, 2011 , an alliance led by the PNC received 26 out of 65 seats.
