Personal NetWare

Personal NetWare was a peer-to-peer network for MS-DOS . While NetWare only enabled communication between clients and server, with Personal NetWare direct communication between clients (especially directory and printer shares) was possible. However, you had to do without a dedicated server.

A forerunner to Personal NetWare in 1994 was NetWare Lite, released by Novell in 1991.
