Peter C. Frank

Peter C. Frank (born before 1963 ) is an American film editor .

Act

Frank began his career in the film industry in 1963. He initially worked as an assistant sound editor.

In 1982 he was responsible for editing a feature film for the first time in Sidney Lumet's drama The Verdict - The Truth and Nothing but Truth . This was followed by work on projects such as Dirty Dancing , Miss Firecracker , Life Is Trouble or Joe's Apartment - Das große Krabbeln . In 1988 Frank was responsible for editing the short film The Appointments of Dennis Jennings , which later won an Oscar .

From July 2010 to April 2014 he oversaw the editing of four seasons of the series Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York at CBS Television .

Frank has been a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild since 1967 , serving on the Board of Local 771 (New York) since the mid-1980s and on the Board of Directors since 1999. He is also a member of the American Cinema Editors . In 2005 he was nominated for an Eddie Award for his cut of Love Never Dies .
