Peter Miklis

Peter Miklis (* 1955 in Lübeck ) is a German musician , drummer , percussionist and music teacher . He was the drummer of Modern and belonged to the backing band Reinforced by Heinz Rudolf Kunze .

Life

Peter Miklis studied at the Lübeck University of Music with Heinz Haedler (NDR Symphony Orchestra Hamburg) from 1976–1981. He then took part in a musical production on the Lübeck stages.

From 1982 to 1996 Miklis worked as a studio and touring drummer, for example for Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Herman van Veen , Reinhard Mey , Ougenweide , Juliane Werding , Luci van Org / Lucilectric , The Roumor Brass (Graham Parker, Dave Edmunds, Cliff Richards), Micky Wolf ( Achim Reichel ) and The Coasters .

For his work as a musician and producer with Heinz Rudolf Kunze, he was awarded two gold records.

Since 1996 Peter Miklis has been a lecturer at the Music and Art School in Lübeck and at the Ostholstein District Music School (until 1999).
