Peter Steinfurth

Peter Steinfurth is a German motor journalist and has been editor-in-chief of the oldtimer magazine Oldtimer Markt since 1991 .

Life

An apprenticeship as a printer in Bielefeld was followed by a traineeship between 1982 and 1984 and then a job as an editor at Westfalenblatt in Halle / Westphalia, ultimately also as editor-in-chief. When the position of a motorcycle editor was advertised in the “market for classic automobiles and motorcycles” at the end of 1989, Steinfurth called the then editor-in-chief Otto Walenta directly. He got the job and replaced Walenta two years later as editor-in-chief.

In 2012 Steinfurth was accepted by the Verband der Motorjournalisten e. V. awarded the Johny Rozendaal clock.
