Plow exchange

In real estate law, the term plow exchange refers to the temporary exchange of land on an agricultural property by the owner or tenant with a third party. It is mutually agreed that the contracting parties work the soil of the other.

A plow exchange can be necessary for various reasons, e.g. A suitable example crop rotation to ensure or to the plant area round off .

The plow exchange is based on § 589 BGB, i. i.e., it requires the permission of the property owner.
