The phonophore ( Greek "sound carrier") is
- a microphone invented by Robert Wreden in the 19th century
- the term from 1913 to the time after the Second World War for several of the company Siemens sold hearing aids
- a "phonophore" or "all-speaker" , the name of a mobile phone-like device in the novel Heliopolis (1949) by Ernst Jünger
- Phonophore (linguistics) , a technical term in linguistics
