Phoronis (epic)

The Phoronis ( Greek  Φορωνίς ) is a fragmentary Greek epic from the 7th or 6th century BC. The author is unknown. The title goes back to Phoroneus , the first human of the Pelasgic , pre-Hellenic human race.

The Phoronis was processed by Akusilaos and perhaps also Hellanikos of Lesbos .
