Piotr Krzysztof Kadlčik (born January 11, 1962 in Warsaw ) is a Polish philologist , translator, activist and chairman of the Association of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland.

From 2001–2014 chairman of the Jewish community in Warsaw, and 2003–2014 chairman of the association of Jewish communities in Poland. Kadlčik is the promoter of many actions and events related to both culture and customs of the Jews . He is a professional translator of the Czech and English languages. In June 2007 he was a member of the board of the European Jewish Congress . Kadlčik is also a founding member of B'nai B'rith Polska , which was reactivated that year.

On December 19, 2009 he received the Order Polonia Restituta (Polish Order Odrodzenia Polski ) for exceptional commitment to democratic change in his home country and contributions to the restoration of Jewish communities in a free Poland.

Piotr Kadlčik is the son of the activist and pediatrician Joanna Cholewicki-Kadlčik († August 10, 2005 in Warsaw). Joanna was a survivor of the Holocaust . In 1993 she founded a rehabilitation clinic for children and adolescents in Warsaw, where she worked as director until autumn 2001.
