Polska Lewica

Polish Left (Polska Lewica) is a political party in Poland that was founded by former Prime Minister Leszek Miller after he left the League of Democratic Left (SLD). Its 1st congress took place on January 3, 2008. The official youth organization is the Society of Young Polish Left (Stowarzyszenie Młoda Polska Lewica). On March 3, 2008, the Polish Left was registered in Warsaw . On May 25, 2008, Leszek Miller was elected chairman of the party's 1st state assembly with 215 of the 230 votes cast.
