The Praga RN was a light truck from the Czechoslovak manufacturer Praga . It was built in various series between 1933 and 1955 and was further developed from the Praga R with a payload of 2-3 t, which was produced by Praga from the First World War until the 1920s.

The model series was used with numerous modifications both militarily and civilly - among other things as an ambulance and fire engine, bus or postbus.

Series

There are several series:

  • Praga RN Series 1: 2 t payload, 6 cylinders, 3468 cm³ displacement, 52 HP (38 kW), built 1933: 96 pieces.
  • Praga RN Series 2: as before, 2.5 t payload, 68 PS (50 kW), built 1936: 100 pieces.
  • Praga RN Series 3–12: as before, 72 HP (53 kW), from 1937 to 1943: 2865 units, also from 1945 to the 1950s 20,526 units.
  • Praga RND series 1–6: as above, but 4-cylinder diesel engine, 4505 cm³ displacement, 50 HP (37 kW), built from 1934 to 1939: 445 units, plus another 15,821 units from 1945 to 1955.
