A production assistant is a laborer in the automated manufacturing process. They are basically unskilled workers who carry out simple activities.

Production assistants are often temporary recruited sfirmen and then under temporary employment contracts provided the target company with their work force. These contracts are usually designed with short notice periods, which allows the target company great flexibility in staffing.
