Programming (surreptitious advertising)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Programming is a form of surreptitious advertising . A company assumes, in full or in part, the production costs of a program that effectively stages its PR goals in a suitable setting. In some cases, programs, including the script, are produced by a company instead of the broadcasting station. Programming includes magazine articles or entire reports that are realized by a development agency for the brand in the sense of an extended PR and placed in the media.
