Proti proudu (Czech for "against the current") was a festival that took place between 1997 and 2013 in Moravské Budějovice (Czech Republic) .

The Proti proudu Moravské Budějovice cultural festival has been organized by the K4 civic association since 1997 and is one of the oldest events of this type in the Vysočina region . The festival developed from a local music event for young people to a two-day cultural festival with more than 2500 visitors. The organizers donated the proceeds of the festival to organizations that look after people in need. This sum now amounts to more than 10,000 euros. The festival took place on the premises of the open-air cinema.
