Pseudocyphelle is a term used in lichen science ( lichenology ).

Pseudocyphellen are the gas exchange serving, small, point-to-dot-shaped perforations of the bark of a lichen thallus . Since the pith shows through here, they appear light. They are typical, for example, of some representatives of the genera Bryoria , Parmelia or Pseudocyphellaria .
