Puck (theater award)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The puck is a theater prize that, since 1999, has been given annually by the Cologne theater community as part of the awarding of the Cologne dance and theater prizes awarded by the SK Stiftung Kultur to the best young actress for outstanding performance on Cologne stages. The prize money of 2500 euros is donated by RheinEnergie AG , the jury is provided by the advisory board for spoken theater and literature of the Cologne theater community. The members of the jury watch productions with young actors throughout the season and evaluate their presence, stage language, facial expressions, gestures, body control and role interpretation.
