Pygme (unit)

The pygm (from the Greek pygmḗ = fist ) is a unit of length known from ancient Greece since ancient times . A pygm is by definition 18 fingers' widths - two fingers more than a foot . The pygma corresponds to the length from the elbow to the knuckles of the hand clenched into a fist.
