Q connector
Asus Q-Connector are three small components with which you can easily connect accessories ( USB & Firewire Bracket) to the mainboard . The Q-connectors are connected to the corresponding bracket, which extends the connection of the bracket and makes it easier to connect to the mainboard. The Q-connectors are also labeled, which makes it easier to connect extensions before final assembly. With a mainboard built into a housing, it is often difficult to identify the correct connections or the correct polarity. Q-Connectors correct this problem.
The Q-connectors from Asus also work with motherboards from other manufacturers, provided they have the appropriate 9-pin connectors for USB and Firewire .
