The Röthenhofer Bach is a left tributary of the Kleiner Brombachsee near Absberg in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . Before the creation of the Brombachsee , the brook flowed into the Brombach , a tributary of the Swabian Rezat, not far from the Scheermühle and near today's peninsula nature reserve in the Kleiner Brombachsee .

The Röthenhofer Bach rises at an altitude of 440  m above sea level.
