RIHA Journal
The RIHA Journal is an international online journal for art historical research. It is published by RIHA - International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art and is therefore a joint project of 28 art historical research institutes in 19 countries worldwide (see below for a list of RIHA institutes).
Current research articles from the fields of art and architectural history, visual science and art theory appear in the RIHA Journal. An anonymous review process (blind peer review ) is an integral part of the editorial process. As an open access journal, the RIHA Journal makes all articles available free of charge.
The central editorial office is based at the Central Institute for Art History in Munich. The RIHA Journal is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM).
