Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics

The Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics ( RTCA ) is a not-for-profit association based in Washington, DC (USA).

It gives recommendations for communication, navigation and monitoring of air traffic management ( CNS / ATM ).

The RTCA serves as the "Federal Advisory Committee" in the USA. Its recommendations are partially approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and others. a. as well as taken over by private.
