Ramat Shlomo

Ramat Shlomo is an Israeli settlement in East Jerusalem . The place was founded in 1995 and is currently inhabited by about 20,000 Jews . In October 2014, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the construction of 660 apartments, followed by another 500 in November of that year. After the election of the new US President Donald Trump , the construction of a further 1,440 new apartments in Ramat Shlomo was approved in November 2016.
